Voted as a Patient’s Choice Award recipient in the field of facial plastic surgery, Dr. Adair Blackledge is a fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon who established the Blackledge Face Center in Jackson, Mississippi, in 2003. Dr. Blackledge’s practice and expertise focus exclusively on the cosmetic rejuvenation of the face, nose and neck. “At Blackledge Face Center, we only focus on the face, nose, and neck because we want to do one thing, and do it right every time,” Blackledge said. His approach centers around the belief that natural surgical results should be complimented by a lifelong commitment to intentional skin care. Such a philosophy allows patients to extend the effects of their facial procedures and improve the health of their skin. Dr. Blackledge’s personal touch in patient care which often includes personal letters, phone calls and home visits creates an unparalleled experience for facial rejuvenation patients. “I love people more than I love faces. Dr. Blackledge has distinguished himself as a nationally renowned expert in the field of facial rejuvenation injectables like Botox, Juvederm, Restylane and Voluma and KyBella.  He has been Mississippi’s only Allergan Black Diamond injector for several consecutive years, and in 2014, he became Mississippi’s only Allergan Top 100 Injector. This distinction is given to the op 100
injectors in the United States, and Dr. Blackledge is only one of ten facial plastic surgeons to be distinguished.

Blackledge is a member of the national Pallette Resources committee, which is responsible for teaching and educating physicians about facial injectable techniques. Dr. Blackledge is also a national researcher and educator for Botox, Juvederm and Voluma techniques, and he has worked with healthcare providers in over twenty states. Because Dr. Blackledge has a strong belief that patient relationships are as important as patient outcomes, he performs all of his own injections on his patients.  As he personally injects each patient, he builds relationships with them. “I’m here to listen,” Blackledge said, “I’m here to learn. I want patients to be comfortable telling me their facial aesthetic goals.” 

Dr. Blackledge has combined his artful eye, surgical skills, and team approach to develop a facial rejuvenation surgery that provides natural results with minimal downtime.  His training included an intensive facial plastic surgery fellowship under Dr. Gaylon McCollough as well as his study under Dr. Frank Kamer in Beverly Hills.  He is now an invited lecturer across the country, where he speaks about facial rejuvenation techniques.  Dr. Blackledge is also a guest instructor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he teaches residents his approach to facial plastic surgery.  Having performed over 4,000 facelifts in his career, he has now operated on patients from 47 of the 50 states.

A native of Quitman, Mississippi, Dr. Blackledge and his wife Deanna have two children.  He is passionate about family time as well as the Mississippi Delta blues scene. His lifelong passion has been art, and he now paints in oil. “I carry my passion for art into my practice every day,” Blackledge said. “I draw my patients’ faces while I’m in the room with them. I want to show them the beauty I see and the vision I have to enhance it.”
