“I look in the mirror, and I’m happy with what I see. I don’t feel like I have to cover up or wear a turtleneck. I have a jawline now,” says Allyson.
Allyson has been a long-time patient since 2014, when Dr. Blackledge performed an upper blepharoplasty. She shares that when she turned forty, she began to feel like she wasn’t seeing herself in the mirror anymore. “Even with losing weight, I still had that genetic ‘turkey neck,’ as we all call it. I knew I needed to address the loose skin on my neck, and I knew I needed to call Dr. Blackledge,” she recalls.
Now, after her surgery, Allyson says, “I look in the mirror and feel like myself again. I don’t feel like I need to cover up or wear high-neck shirts like turtlenecks.”
